THAI Launches Flights to Vienna

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) announced the introduction of direct roundtrip flights from Bangkok to Vienna, Austria, with service commencing on 16 November 2017.

 

Mrs. Usanee Sangsingkeo, THAI Acting President and Executive Vice President, Commercial Department, said, “It is a pleasure to introduce Vienna as THAI’s newest destination in Europe and Vienna is located in central Europe, whereby the perfect gateway to Europe region. Passengers can easily connect to cities in Europe and from Europe to Thailand conveniently with THAI’s network. Vienna is the capital of Austria and known for its artistic, music, and intellectual legacy, particularly its revered residents such as Mozart, Beethoven and Sigmund Freud. As the city of music, Vienna is renowned for its classical composers as well as Imperial Palaces that include Schonbrunn Palace and the Museumsquartier baroque district. Also enjoy the pleasure of Viennese cuisine, the various meats and strudels as well as the world famous Sachertorte that has its origins in Vienna.”

 

Currently, THAI flies to 12 cities across 10 countries in Europe which are Copenhagen, Oslo, Brussels, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Stockholm, London, Rome, Milan, and Moscow.

 

THAI will begin operating four roundtrip flights per week from Bangkok-Vienna on Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. The first flight will depart on 16 November 2017, as follows:


TG936 Bangkok-Vienna 01.30 hrs 07.00 hrs Mon, Thu, Sat, Sun
TG937 Vienna-Bangkok 13.30 hrs 05.20 hrs (next day) Mon, Thu, Sat, Sun
