Japan Airlines said on Tuesday it would maintain the current level of fuel surcharge for all international passengers tickets issued between July and September this year.

The carrier said the price of Singapore kerosene-type jet fuel during the 3 month period from February 2010 to April 2010 averaged US$88.51 per barrel, which corresponded to Zone C fuel surcharges.

As of July 1 this year, the Zone C level is unchanged, with the subsequent level of surcharge to be maintained and applied to all international passenger tickets issued between July 1 and September 30.
